The Rolex Air King is an unknown model that stay in the background. Now, it achieved to become a popular one. Although new Air King seems like featuring minor changes compared to the previous model, these minor touches are so appropriate that Air King is now the center of attraction. 

Look closely, there is “0” numeral in front of “5” minute indicator, which is a distinguished side of the latest model from previous Ref. 116900. So that, the indicators on the dial have achieved a great balance. The numerals 05 and 55 that standing side by side now look more pleasing to the eye.

Yet, the main change of the looking is crown guards. The crown guards eliminate the bulky looking of the Air King as well as bringing sport-chic and grace. The chromalight radiation technique, which makes reading easier in the dark, has also been improved.

The advanced automatic movement Rolex Perpetual Caliver 3230, which increases the power reserve from 48 hours to 70 hours, has replaced the old caliver (3131). As it is known, the GMT-Master II – a popular practical travel watch- is a more innovative version of the legendary GMT-Master watch, developed in 1955 to meet the needs of airline pilots, which has been on the market since 1983, with a new mechanism that allowed the hour hand to be set independently.

In order to move the crown to left of the case and reposition the date window at 9 o’clock, some important changes are applied on the movement. Besides, the double-sided ceracrom bezel brings together a never-before-seen color duo -green and black- in this watch that specially designed for left-handers. The GMT-Master II’s bold bezel with 24-hour graduation on the bottom half of which represents daytime and the top half at night, provides a second time zone that can be easily read by the green and white triangular-tipper 24-hour hand. The Chromalight system is brighter and the new watch glass with anti-reflective coating provides excellent legibility in any condition. The new version of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II features caliber 3285, first announced in 2018.

With the Day-Date 40, which is produced using only precious metals, Rolex breaks a new ground by adding the brand’s signature fluted bezel to the case and bracelet duo made of platinum this time. It is a watch that breaks new ground. When the Rolex Day-date was introduced in 1956, it was the first calendar wristwatch to display the day in a large-curved window at 12 o’clock in addition to the date.

Vivacious, energetic and striking; those may be right words for the Datejust 31. Colorful dials with flowers in the center symbolize the cheerful character of the Datejust 31. The models are available in Azzurro blue, olive green and silver. The Azzurro blue with floral-motif dial, fluted bezel and Oyster-style bracelet, is a steel and white gold blended white Rolesor version.
