The jewelry house Tiffany & Co. collaborated with Nike for a new Air Force model.
Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Jacquemus or Saint-Laurent, these are just some of the luxury brands that Nike has collaborated to date. The American brand has teamed up with the giant names of the fashion world, and now it is collaborating with Tiffany & Co. And for us, a few words enough to describe this collaboration, just as Nike posted on Instagram: “A Legendary Pair”.
The news firstly announced by posting on IG pages of Nike and Tiffany & Co. with portraying a Tiffany & Co. blue box features a Nike logo. This blue box was looking as iconic as Nike and as luxurious as Tiffany & Co. Then, the blue box opened to reveal an iconic Nike featuring a logo designed in Tiffany & Co. blue.
Designed like an Air Force One, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 sneakers are crafted from black suede and feature Nike logos on both inside and outside in Tiffany & Co. blue. The metallic touches on the back of the shoes are engraved with the number 925 that refers to brand’s silver heritage (925 parts for 1,000 parts silver).
The sneakers will be available at Tiffany & Co.’s two New York locations and via Nike’s SNKRS app starting March 7. Enthusiasts who visit the stores or the website can purchase not only the sneakers, but also a set of three, including a T&Co. whistle, a toothbrush (that’s right, a toothbrush) and a shoehorn.
