Tissot introduces the first skeletonised dial in the PRX collection with the new PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition.

First introduced in 1978, the Tissot PRX has become one of the brand’s most recognisable collections, celebrated for its integrated-bracelet design. In recent years, the collection has continued to evolve, welcoming new case sizes, materials and movements. Its latest addition is the result of a collaboration with internationally renowned basketball player and Tissot brand ambassador Damian Lillard.

The new PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition marks several firsts for the collection. Not only is it the first PRX to feature a skeletonised dial, but its 44 mm case also makes it the largest model in the collection to date.
The 44 mm stainless steel case frames an openworked dial accented with burgundy details. Revealing much of the movement beneath, the dial features a small seconds display at 9 o’clock. The gold-coloured small seconds hand takes inspiration from the D-shaped monogram associated with “Dame D.O.L.L.A.”, the name Lillard uses for his musical career as a rapper. Encircling the subdial is a burgundy ring bearing the words “Dame Time”, while the basketball star’s signature also appears on the sapphire crystal caseback.

At the heart of the PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition is an ETA-based hand-wound movement offering a power reserve of 52 hours.
One of the watch’s more unexpected features is its ability to transform into a pocket watch. Thanks to its quick-change strap system, the burgundy straps can be removed, allowing the timepiece to be placed inside a matching burgundy leather pouch, giving it the appearance of a traditional pocket watch.

The Tissot PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition is a special-edition release, although production is not limited to a specific number of pieces. For further information about the watch, visit Tissot’s official website.
