The New Stage of Haute Horology: TimeVallée x Beymen
TimeVallée brings the heritage of haute horology and contemporary luxury to Beymen Zorlu Center, marking a new era for watch enthusiasts in Turkey.
Blending the heritage of haute horology with contemporary luxury, TimeVallée has added a new chapter to its global presence by opening its doors at Beymen Zorlu Center. Bringing together Richemont Group’s global vision with Beymen’s refined approach to luxury retail, we spoke with Beymen CEO Batur Kutnay about this exclusive collaboration.
Created by Richemont Group in 2014, TimeVallée has rapidly become one of the most innovative retail formats in haute horology. Located in global luxury capitals such as Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris and Seoul, TimeVallée brings together maisons like Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin and Montblanc through a discovery-driven, interactive and story-led experience.
From artisanal workshops that reveal the craftsmanship behind each watch, to digital exploration stations and curated storytelling zones, TimeVallée transforms luxury from a product into a journey—one that the visitor becomes an active part of.
This global concept now comes to life in Turkey at Beymen’s flagship store in Zorlu Center. The meeting point between Beymen’s philosophy of luxury as a lifestyle and TimeVallée’s visionary approach marks the beginning of a new era for haute horology in Turkey. We spoke with Batur Kutnay about the story behind this special opening.

TimeVallée aims to transform the haute horology experience into an interaction beyond discovery. What drew Beymen to bring this concept to Turkey?
TimeVallée is a very special concept for us, as it unites the heritage of haute horology with a contemporary experience mindset. For over half a century, Beymen has positioned luxury not merely as a product but as a lifestyle. The alignment between this vision and TimeVallée’s approach was the most compelling aspect for us. We wanted to create an experience where our guests become part of the story.
Where does this strategic partnership with Richemont Group stand within Beymen’s luxury retail strategy?
It is an important milestone. Our long-standing relationships with global luxury maisons have always elevated Beymen’s distinctive vision. TimeVallée is a natural extension of this. We see it as a powerful example of an approach that makes luxury more inclusive, more interactive and more experience-focused.

For those unfamiliar with TimeVallée, how would you describe this experience? How do you expect Turkish collectors to respond?
TimeVallée is a discovery space uniting the elegance, heritage and innovation of haute horology. Visitors can connect with each maison’s story and experience fine craftsmanship firsthand. We believe watch enthusiasts in Turkey will show great interest—because what awaits them is not merely shopping, but an experience that reflects the human side of luxury. The fact that TimeVallée’s only Turkish location is at Beymen makes it even more special.
How do you see the growth of haute horology in Turkey, and what role does it play in Beymen’s strategy?
Turkey is a country with growing appreciation for haute horology. We have a clientele that values craftsmanship, quality and legacy. Beymen has always taken a pioneering role by bringing the most prestigious maisons together under the right atmosphere. With TimeVallée, we elevate this leadership further.

Worldwide, TimeVallée blends heritage with contemporary luxury. How did you balance this at Beymen Zorlu Center?
The boutique combines modern lines with timeless elegance. You can feel both the identity of each maison and Beymen’s refined aesthetic throughout the space. Natural materials, an open and inviting atmosphere and a clean but powerful design language guide the experience.
What Beymen-specific touches can visitors expect in the boutique?
At Beymen, we focus on creating spaces where guests can truly experience something. From the elegance of the interior to personalized service details, the materials and spatial flow, Beymen’s signature is present throughout.

On a personal note—what draws you to a watch the most: design, movement or story?
For me, a watch carries a story far beyond measuring time. Its craftsmanship, design language, technical mastery and spirit are all important. Sometimes a single detail—a form or dial structure—can reflect decades of heritage.
For example, Panerai’s naval roots and strong, diving-inspired forms resonate deeply if you love the sea. Similarly, IWC’s engineering tradition and aviation heritage appeal to those fascinated by mechanics. A watch is both a form of personal expression and a symbol of permanence, passion and taste.
Which type of watch best reflects your personal style?
I gravitate toward functional, timeless designs. As someone who enjoys the sea and sports, I feel naturally connected to strong, characterful watches that suit this lifestyle. Panerai’s maritime DNA or IWC’s engineering spirit appeals to me both aesthetically and technically. A good watch—like a good story—redefines you every time you look at it.
