One of the most exciting weeks on the watchmaking calendar, Geneva Watch Days 2026 will take place in Geneva from 2 to 6 September. Which brands and events should be on your radar this year? Let’s take a closer look.

Geneva Watch Days, now one of the liveliest gatherings on the contemporary watchmaking calendar, returns for its seventh edition from 2 to 6 September 2026. Launched in 2020, the event continues to follow the same principle: rather than adopting the conventional trade-fair model of a single exhibition hall, it spreads across different locations in Geneva, creating a more flexible and direct way for brands, collectors, media and enthusiasts to come together. In 2026, 71 brands will take part.

This year’s programme is organized around four main spaces. The Blue Box serves as the principal exhibition area, bringing participating brands and their latest releases together under one roof, while the Pavilion hosts talks, panels, live events and auctions. Brand presentations in boutiques and showrooms extend the programme across the city, while the Collectors’ Lounge is reserved for more intimate, invitation-only gatherings. Many of the exhibitions and events at the Pavilion are open to the public, with general access beginning on the afternoon of 2 September and continuing throughout the daytime over the following days. The Pavilion and Blue Box are located just a few minutes’ walk from one another.

The programme goes far beyond new watch launches. During the CaliberShip Challenge, which also involves students from the Geneva Watchmaking School, participants will regulate Sellita movements, with the results assessed by COSC. Talks throughout the week will explore topics ranging from the relationship between watchmakers and movement constructors to the influence of artificial intelligence on watch preferences, the desirability of brands and products, and the role of gender in contemporary watch design.

On 5 September, former Audemars Piguet CEO François-Henry Bennahmias will meet a younger generation of watch enthusiasts as part of the GPHG Next Gen programme. The same day will also feature the FHH brunch and watchmaking quiz, while on 6 September, the Musée International de l’Horlogerie Kids’ Club, designed for children aged 8 to 12, will be among the public events.

Phillips Returns to Geneva

Another highlight of Geneva Watch Days 2026 will be Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo. On 3 September at 6:00 p.m., a charity auction will take place at the Pavilion, offering unusual objects and experiences donated by participating brands. Proceeds will benefit the Pierre Amstutz Fund, which supports students at the Geneva Watchmaking School.
