If you associate H. Moser & Cie. with its signature monochromatic fumé dials and understated aesthetics, the new Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Cosmic Rain is set to surprise you. Limited to 20 pieces, the latest creation combines a minute repeater, a flying tourbillon fitted with a cylindrical hairspring, and a fully skeletonised movement in one remarkable timepiece. The openworked dial reveals much of the movement beneath, while a small blue dial positioned around 2 o’clock displays the hours and minutes.
Although the watch’s technical complications take centre stage, the miniature dial is equally captivating at first glance. Crafted from aventurine glass, its domed construction creates an impressive sense of depth and visual richness. H. Moser & Cie.’s signature fumé gradient is reinterpreted through the use of aventurine glass fragments in two different shades, producing a distinctive shimmering effect. After undergoing multiple firings, the dial is further enhanced with delicately curved mother-of-pearl inlays, adding another layer of refinement to its intricate composition.
Powering the watch is the in-house Calibre HMC 909, partially visible through the skeletonised dial. Equipped with a one-minute flying tourbillon and a cylindrical hairspring, the hand-wound Manufacture movement delivers an impressive 90-hour power reserve.
