With Carrera Date models in blue, green and pink and the Carrera Plasma, Tag Heuer created a colorful and shining Watches and Wonders.
One of the shining stars of Tag Heuer, who we know for its sportive spirit, in the last Watches and Wonders was Monaco Gulf Special Edition. This year, the flag is taken by models from the Carrera series, which takes its name from the famous automobile race Carrera Panamericana. Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, the collection’s Carrera Date 36 mm models designed in green, blue, pink and silver dials and Tag Heuer Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Gard were among the most attractive models of the brand in Watches and Wonders 2023. Like Rolex and Oris, Tag Heuer marked the fair with its colorful dials.

2mm thinner than its predecessor models; a Carrera designed in pink, blue, green and silver dials. The crowns of the Carrera Date model, which have been thinned and their dials colored, have also been redesigned, and the steel bracelets have been made more comfortable to wear. At the heart of the new series is the caliber 7 with a power reserve of 65 hours. Tag Heuer Carrera Dates, with their thinner, comfortable and colorful dials, thus become one of the thinner, more comfortable and more colorful collections of Watches and Wonders 2023.
Tag Heuer Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Gard
Last year, Tag Heuer broke new ground for both high-end watchmaking and Tag Heuer with the Carrera Plasma model, designing the watch with diamonds produced in the laboratory. Taking a step forward in 2023, when Carrera celebrates its 60th anniversary, the brand announced Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Gard, designed with diamonds from the dial to the bracelet, in Watches and Wonders 2023. In addition to the 44 mm diameter black aluminum case, bezel, dial, crown (a 2.5-carat diamond), this time the bracelet is also decorated with diamonds.
The diamonds on the dial are designed in a single polycrystalline plate. In this way, the dial looks as if it was designed from a single diamond. While the sub-dials on the right and left corners are designed in the same way, a contrasting look is achieved with the white gold and rhodium-plated hour and minute hands. What follows is a play of light.
