The star of Rocky, Sylvester Stallone is auctioning his watch collection at Sotheby’s.
The auction house Sotheby’s will auction 11 timepieces from Sylvester Stallone’s personal watch collection through “Important Watches” auction on June 5 in New York. Some watches in the actor’s collection are extremely rare, whilst some models are from movies that Stallone once wore in movies.
In the interview Stallone says that he doesn’t consider watches as just an accessory; he admires timepieces for their history, craftsmanship and most importantly the emotions that they give. The Sotheby’s will auction 11 timepieces from a rare Patek Philippe to Panerai.
During this interview, Stallone states that he enjoys sharing things once he used. He also like to share his timepieces. So much so that, he brings together watch collectors with a very rare model, Patek Philippe Grand Master Chime Ref. 6300G. Stallone has never worn this watch, and this rare Patek is still preserved in its original pocket.
