Bvlgari’s new Eclettica collection opens a poetic gateway to high-jewelry watchmaking.
A single dial can hold countless stories. In fact, it can even trace back to 753 BCE, depicting the starry night of Rome’s founding, just as it measures the passage of time. Bvlgari’s latest timepiece, the Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream High-Jewelry, captures that magical night within the luminous depths of its black opaline dial.
The Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream High-Jewelry is one of three watches unveiled within Bvlgari’s new high-jewelry Eclettica collection. Rooted in eclecticism, the Roman maison’s natural expression where contrasts transform into harmony, the collection features over 50 high-jewelry creations. Drawing inspiration from the essence of Rome and the captivating tales of mythology, the collection merges artistic vision with craftsmanship, opening a poetic window into the world of fine jewelry. Alongside the Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream High-Jewelry, the Eclettica collection also introduces the Pavone Bracelet High-Jewelry and Serpenti Dea Secret High-Jewelry models.
Housed in a 38 mm white-gold case, the Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream High-Jewelry dial reimagines the starry sky witnessing Rome’s birth. Snowflake-set sapphires and diamonds on the dial evoke the twinkling night sky. Fine yellow-gold lines beneath the domed sapphire crystal trace a celestial map, reminiscent of the Milky Way. Time is indicated on a subdial at 3 o’clock, featuring diamond indexes. The dial incorporates 222 blue sapphires, 72 round-cut diamonds, and a variety of other precious stones, while the bezel is set with diamonds. Sparkle continues onto the case and bracelet, with 306 round-cut diamonds on the case and 1,140 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bracelet.
