“The Starry Night” by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, it depicts the view of a French village from the window is asylum room, just before sunrise. The artwork has become so famous in time that all we are now familiar with this view of French village. This famous painting has taken place in our lives with different reproductions such as mugs, notebook covers, backpacks… Now, its new form is a Lego design. Thus, it will be possible to create your own “Starry Night” with Lego pieces without a canvas or brush.
Truman Cheng’s “The Starry Night” Lego idea has received more than 10,000 votes and got approved for production. This three dimensional redesign of the painting is consisting of 1552 pieces. It is possible to feel effect of the painting thanks to three dimensional structure which is created by Lego. The set includes a small Vincent van Gogh model, a paintbrush, an easel and a small reproduction of “Starry Night”.
There is no clear release date. However, it is certain that Lego Starry Night will be popular as much as Lego Harry Porter Hogwarts Castle or Lego Star Wars.
