At Watches and Wonders 2021, Cartier announced their Cloche de Cartier series with a unique design that can transform into a miniature desk clock.
Cartier announced at Watches & Wonders 2021 that it’s renewed six of it’s collection lines. These include the Cartier Libre, Cartier Privé, Pasha de Cartier, Santos de Cartier (and Santos Dumont), Tank Must de Cartier, Ballon Bleu and Panthère Jewellery series. As always, there are many watches that are noteworthy among these watches, but we can say that the Cloche de Cartier, which has a rare idea and form in the world of watchmaking, was the most shining series.

Cloche de Cartier watches are in the Cartier Privé collection. This collection consists of a limited number of memorable Cartier models.
The collection, which began in 2015 with Crash, grew with Tank Cintrée in 2017, Tonneau in 2019, and Tank Asymétrique in 2020. Next one is the impressive Cloche.
The word “Cloche” means bells in French, and cloche was the inspiration for the shape of Cartier watches. However, the Cloche de Cartier, which first came out in 1920, does not look like the way we are get used to it today. Although the bell attribution is much more obvious, compared to today’s version, we can say that it has a less creative case.
The legend of Cloche de Cartier was born after Cartier designers, a jewel and watchmaker who turned the simple realities of everyday life into a work of art, created an arrangement that revealed the true power of the watch. The operation was simple: In a new asymmetric design inspired by a service bell, the case and dial were rotated ninety degrees. After all, as with service bells, the arm is on the hill, and you can pull it out of your wrist and use it as a miniature table clock if you want. These unique watches are all 37.15 mm x 28 mm in diameter, the 1917 MC and 9626 MC are in-house movements.
