H. Moser & Cie. this time use plain and eye-catching blue for the dial of new Endeavor Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aqua Blue.
Independent watch brand H. Moser & Cie. is known for its iconic fume dials that design in different colors. With fume dials, which gradually darkens from the middle to the edges, the time travel on the dial sometimes turns into a game of colors. As you might remember, the green dial of Endeavor Center Seconds Concept Lime Green, introduced at Watches and Wonders 2022, took us on a journey into depths of a forest with all shades of green. This time, latest model Endeavor Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aqua Blue invites us to a blue journey.
To create the blue tone of the Aqua Blue dial, Grand Feu enamel engraving used on a gold plate and four different color pigments are applied after the desire rich texture is achieved. To oxidize and fuse together, these are also applied on the kiln. In order to obtain this blue color, which darkens from the edges to the center of the dial, the baking process was done almost 12 times. Another stage is to obtain this blue color with light tone in the center that intensifies as it reaches to edges, the baking process is applied almost 12 times in this stage. The difference of this fume dial from previous models is that the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock and the gong and hammers at 11 o’clock. Designed in red gold or titanium, the case is the same color as the hour and minute hands measures 40 mm in diameter.
The watch features new manual-winding caliber HMC 904, which is one of the main differences between the latest watch and the previous models. The bridges of the movement, which can be seen from the behind case, have been shortened and all components are designed and polished by hand like all H. Moser & Cie. movements. The movement runs at 21,600 vibrations and has a power reserve of 90-hours (the previous HMC-200 had power reserve of 72-hour).
H. Moser & Cie. Endeavor Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Aqua Blue is a limited series to 40 pieces, 20 pieces in a titanium case and 20 pieces in a rose gold case. Both versions come with an alligator strap; the titanium case comes with a black strap, while the red gold case comes with a brown strap.
