After graduating from Central Saint Martins, known as one of the most important fashion school in the world, Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov has focused on men’s ready-to-wear design. And for several seasons, he collaborated with Asics. Although the collaboration between this duo has come to an end, the legacy of partnership continues come to light: a model, which designed during this partnership, was introduced recently.
Now, Asics introduces GEL-FRATELLI, which is a new design that producing in collaboration between Kyle Ng and Braid Dead alongside Kostadinov. GEL-FRATELLI can be described as an intersection of the previous models of the brand, Lazerbeam and Gel-Nimbus 23. Of course, the new model reflects Kostadinov’s color world and aesthetic point of view. Inspired by the differences of right and left sides of brain, the team choices different colors for the right and left sole of sneakers. The collection is limited to 120 pairs.
