Patek Philippe Introduces Three New Chronographs

We look at Patek Philippe’s new chronographs with additional complications.

Patek Philippe’s long history with complications goes back 180 years. When French watchmaker Jean Adrien Philippe joined the company in 1845, Patek Philippe began to produce complications. Since then, the brand has been mentioned with mechanical watches that has highest value and greatest complications. And nowadays, Patek Philippe introduced three new chronographs that reveal the brand’s almost two centuries of praiseworthy history in complication mechanical watch production with contemporary and luxurious designs.

REF. 5204R-011

As you know, Patek Philippe 5204R has been producing since 2006 in versions with opaline and ebony black dials in rose gold case. The new member of the series, Ref. The 5204R-011 comes with an 18-karat rose gold case, but has a sunray patterned anthracite dial this time. The Moon phase positioned at 6 o’clock has a classic perpetual calendar Patek Philippe look with month and day indicators at 12 o’clock. The movement, Caliber CHR 29-535, is equipped with a split second chronograph perpetual calendar. Also, its traditional structure is combined with seven patented innovations. The timepiece offers a brown alligator strap in harmony with dark anthracite dial and rose gold case.

Patek Philippe Ref. 5005/1A-001 is a flyback chronograph with annual calendar. This model has a sporty look with its stainless steel case and steel bracelet in harmony with “sunburst” olive green dial. The rhythmic green dial features a shadowy appearance with gold indexes shine exactly where they should be. Moving into center of the model, we see the Caliber CH 28-520 QA 24H. The patented Annual Calendar automatically takes account of 30- and 31-day months, requiring only one correction per year, on March 1st.

Ref. 5930P-0012 is a flamboyant model with combining of brilliance of platinum with a green dial and strap. A new version of famous World Time Flyback Chrono, the timepiece is taken a step further with the brand’s rich hue in a brighter shade for a stunning innovation. The central of dial is designed with hand-guilloched pattern. From the inside out, some city names are places on a white ring in green letter behind the hour indicators. As a final touch, green alligator leather with square scales reveals the classism of this cult model. The timepiece features the Caliber CH 28-520 HU. Equipped with flyback chronograph and world time, the movement has power reserve of 55 hours as well as 24-hour day/night indication for 24 time zones.
