With its green and red dials, new Oris Aquis Date watches will bring color to summer days.
A few years ago, Oris Regional Director Marco Gemperli told us in our interview that they aimed to put a smile on the faces of watch lovers with the Cotton Candy collection they introduced back then. From the colorful Cotton Candy watches to the Kermit Edition model that hides a smiling Kermit on its dial, Oris watches manage to put a smile on our faces every time. New Aquis Date 41.5 mm watches are among this kind of timepieces that puy a smile on our faces with colorful dials.
Introduced in 2011, Aquis Date is one of the brand’s cult series. In Watches and Wonders 2024, the series was renewed with different sizes and design changes. The new Aquis Date 41.5 watches are inspired by the red and green colors of watermelon. So much that, who can set limit the sources of inspiration in the watch world? Oris’ new dials bear the appetizing colors of a juicy red slice of watermelon.
The sun -inished dials are available in red or green. The Luminous hour markers match the unidirectional white ceramic bezel and the stainless-steel case and bracelet. The indicators on the bezels are designed in red or green to match the dial.
At the heart of the watch is the automatic movement caliber 733. With a 4 Hz vibration rate, the movement has a power reserve of 41 hours. Once the Oris Aquis Date “Taste of Summer” capsule collection is sold out, it will not be produced again.
