New Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Gold Edition

Omega will serve as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games for the 29th time since 1932.

No doubt that the gold medal, the most prestigious award of the Olympic Games, is the greatest success for an athlete can achieve throughout his career. In order to tribute this iconic honor, Omega produced new Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Gold Edition.

The new Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo watches comes with two different case sizes as 38 mm and 41 mm edition, yet both timepieces have in common the use of 18k yellow gold case.

The polished blue ceramic dials are designed with laser-engravings that inspired by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem. The entire emblem is located on the case back of the watch. The brand had used the laser engraved ceramic dial for the first time in the Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo Limited Edition. The whole emblem is located on the caseback.

The timepieces are equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber. Also, models are offered with a blue leather in harmony with the blue ceramic case. The watches are delivered in a special presentation box and with a 5-year warranty.

Michael Phelps will be one of the first person who wear this watch. The 36-year-old American swimmer, who is the most decorated athlete in Olympic history with a total of 28 Olympic medals, 23 of which are gold, explains an athlete’s relationship with times with words, “Being an Olympic athlete is a 7/24 job. It is continuous. In order to be ready for the Olympic Games, you have to work hard, go through an intense struggle. This journey that I took five times, was not an easy one. However, I knew that my selfless effort would give me the results I deserved.”
