Richard Mille’s most feminine series, RM 07-01, is now candidate to be most joyful line of the brand with colorful timepieces.
As you know, Richard Mille is a fearless brand in terms of use of color that its previous watch RM 07-01 Red Racing could be a perfect example for this. Furthermore, the timepieces in the RM 07-01 series, which is the most feminine line of the brand, also has a unique place among the product range of Richard Mille with their elegant appearance. The last example of this series is RM 07-01 Coloured Ceramic Capsule Collection. The series comes with three new models that are made of advanced ceramics, in limited edition.
Each of these ceramics themed models has different color combinations: the RM 07-01 Pastel Pink is a combination of purple and blue; the RM 07-01 Pastel Blue mixes light blue and turquoise tones; the RM 07-01 Pastel Lavender appears in red and orange. These models, which come with accents of the summer season, are limited to 50 pieces.
“I was inspired by the Art Deco architecture that can be seen in Miami; these pastel colors and bold patterns catch the eye and convey a great energy and attitude,” says Cecile Guenat, Director of Creation at Richard Mille.
The tonneau-shaped cases are made of TZP, a type of bio-ceramic material. The three-part case is in 45.66 x 31.40 x 11.85 mm, which is a voluminous size for timepieces in the ladies’ group. The timepieces are produced to be scratch resistance to 1,400 Vickers. A difficult machining and grinding process was required to create these colored dials and form of the watches. The case band is made of white gold, whilst the base plate and bridges are made of grade 5 titanium.
With skeletonized design, the in-house caliber CRMA2 is located below the dial. Watches are water resistance to 50 meters and has a power reserve of 50-hours.
Modern and traditional techniques are used in the design of the dial: Guilloché motifs, which date back to the 16th century, are used for the finishes, while the centerpiece of the design is rhodium-plated red gold. With these models, the guilloché motif is used for the first time in the brand’s history.
RM 07-01 Colored Ceramic Capsule Collection, which stands out as the most joyful models of the RM 07-01 series with bi-colored straps and colorful cases with gold guilloché dials, brings a playful and energetic atmosphere to your wrist.
