Big Bang DJ Snake is a new model limited to 100 pieces designed by Hublot in collaboration with French musician DJ Snake, it carries the nightlife to your wrist with its blue and purple dial.
A timepiece may find its inspiration from any source, so much so that, it can be one of the most famous paintings in the world or even a story written years ago. Let’s not even mentioned the collaborations with the most popular sports cars and examples of dials adorned with symbols of the Olympic Games. In the past few months, more colorful and sparkly examples have been added to these inspirations and collaborations, and the high watchmaking world continues to satisfy our longing for festival through these playful dials.
Not so long ago, we have written the Bulgari Aluminum Steve Aoki Special Edition, which was released by Bulgari in collaboration with DJ Steve Aoki at the beginning of summer. Now we are excited to write a colorful dial made in collaboration with world’s most famous DJs: Hublot announced the limited edition Big Bang DJ Snake, produced in collaboration with French musician DJ Snake.
The case and bezel are covered with satin-polished titanium. Both case and the bezel have in common is not only the use of titanium, but also the stunning appearance that catches the eye at the first glance. On the other hand, the caseback is equipped with sapphire crystals and it is just as glamorous as the dial. The contrast of purple and blue continues with details in the same colors on the sapphire of the watch. Arabic numerals and other hour indicators are also preferred in the elegant shine of silver. Rubber strap is the final touch in camouflage or black.
Furthermore, each timepiece has undergone a process similar to the black PVD process for the Newton Rings effect (increasing the glittering effect) that appears in the design. The titanium coating on the case and bezel have reached the maximum level of hardness with another coloring process.
Of course, DJ Snake’s touches appears also in this eye-catching design: The grooves on the edges of the bezel were designed by the artist. The world map on the dials refers to Snake’s worldwide fame. The timepiece comes with HUB1242, which has power reserve of 72 hours.
