Oris reinterpreted the Divers Sixty-Five collection from a playful perspective. Let us remember our childhood and look at the “Cotton Candy” collection.
Who is to say mechanical watches are not fun? And if anyone has anything to say, they will just smile after seeing Oris ‘ cotton candy watches. (As for watches and candies, let’s also remember Richard Mille’s Bonbon collection, which was unveiled at the SIHH 2019)
The pillar of the Cotton Candy Collection is the spring season, which means fresh beginnings, and the concept of nurtured hope that the good things will happen at the end of a difficult road. We’re all in the process of a pandemic with traumatic consequences, but Oris‘ clever and soulful idea makers thought we didn’t need to tie up scribbles, resulting in a collection of three watches with sweet colors in pastel shades.
In a bronze case, these timepieces, with sky blue, wild green, and lipstick pink dials, radiate a joyful glow as if they were born on a beach, laying in a hammock on holiday, looking at the sky, or sitting in front of a mirror.
Oris consciously sized the Cotton Candy Collection with a diameter of 38 mm, which was neither too large nor too small to appeal to both men and women (thus creating a completely new case size within the Divers Sixty-Five family). The bronze alloy used in the case and the bezel will eventually get a user-specific hue.
Circular and rectangular watch markers, which are familiar with Divers Sixty-Five, and date indicator are at 6 o’clock. The waterproof of the watch is up to 100 meters has a 38-hour power reserve.
