Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2022 “Daybreak” collection designed by Virgil Abloh will be available in stores, in March.

Virgil Abloh reimagined the profile of high fashion and broke down the boundaries between street and luxury fashion. His philosophy was very much informed by the clothes that people actually wear. That’s why, he was a revolutionary fashioner. Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2022 “Daybreak”, which is last collection designed by him, features pieces that people actually wear.

This time, Virgil Abloh broke down the boundaries of sportswear and workwear. Tailored trousers imbued with baggy volumes are together with blousons instead of blazers. Of course, the collection features a wide range of jackets: black wool varsity jackets with embossed monogram leather sleeves, white shearling bomber jackets and green biker jackets encapsulated in leather paneling…

Another signature element of collection is that relaxed cuts and light materials span stripy blue suits with pin-hook closures. The stripes come to play not only in the blue suit, but also in the baseball jacket and trousers. With this collection, Abloh brings together both the traditional lines of the Maison and the codes of workwear with a comfortable and sporty style. The Firminy complex, built by the famous architect Le Corbusier, houses the backdrops of the collection. The collection will be available in Louis Vuitton stores as of March 2022.
