Panerai has introduced two new additions to its Luminor collection in honour of Luna Rossa, the sailing team set to compete in the 38th America’s Cup.

With deep-rooted ties to the maritime world, Panerai has been an official partner of the renowned Luna Rossa sailing team since 2019. Throughout this collaboration, the brand has created a series of timepieces inspired by the spirit and technical excellence of the Italian racing team. The newly unveiled Luminor Luna Rossa GMT and Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono are the latest expressions of this long-standing partnership.

The Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono is released as a limited edition of 500 pieces. Combining Panerai’s function-driven design language with visual references to Luna Rossa’s distinctive identity, the PAM01768 is housed in a 44 mm stainless steel case. In keeping with Panerai’s signature chronograph architecture, the pushers are positioned on the left side of the case.

Its silver-toned dial features Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, accompanied by two chronograph counters. Shades of grey dominate the dial, while red accents on the hands echo Luna Rossa’s racing colours. The black Velcro strap, distinguished by a red central stripe, reinforces this visual identity, while an additional rubber strap is included in the presentation box.
