Within the scope of Paris Couture Week, which took place in the past weeks, luxury maisons had the opportunity to promote the most valuable pieces of this atmosphere as well as personalized couture designs. On the other hand, the Boucheron collection came with a visual illusion, so to speak.
Under Creative Director Claire Choisne, the brand has pushed the boundaries and bringing a new perspective with diamond, white marble, and holographic materials, with a world of colors that make you feel like you are passing under a rainbow.
Collaborating with a brand that produces holograms that enable night vision on airport platforms, Choisne applied this material to jewelry design. The holographic effect is obtained by melting, pulverizing and reshaping titanium and silver. Eventually, it gives a casual rock-chic style to gemstones.
