Abramovic’s “Traces” at the Old Truman Brewery in London

Performance artist Marina Abramovic meet art lovers with a new installation in which she reveals the milestones and journeys of her life.

Traces, which will be free, can be visited at the Old Truman Brewery in London on September 10 through 12. The show will take the visitors in five rooms that hosting objects and ideas inspired the artist.

Van Gogh’s Starry Nights, Rose of Jericho, an ancient herb, and Susan Sontag’s essay stand out among the works.

Curated by Abramovic, the installation is designed as living life form, where the artists’ life practice is depicted.

Abramovic aims to transfer these objects and ideas to next generations, both physically and conceptually. Also, she describes this performance as an immersive time capsule.

Traces will also be available on WeTransfer, the sponsor of the show.
