Zenith has announced the Defy Skyline Édition Paris, a limited series of 50 pieces inspired by Paris.
Just days before the Summer Olympics, Zenith introduced the Defy Skyline Édition Paris, which is designed with inspiration from Paris and will be sold only in Paris boutiques.
The dial of the timepiece is verdigris, which is one of the signature colors of Paris. The verdigris, which refers to the ancient architecture with abundant copper details, corresponds to the color that copper takes over the years. This vibrant green, often seen in Paris due to its architecture, also adorns the dial of Defy Skyline. The verdigris dial is accompained by the starry sky pattern. At 9 o’clock, there is a sub-counter that displays the 1/10th of a second. The dial houses usual design codes of the series.
Carrying the modern and sporty lines of the Defy, the watch comes in a 41 mm – stainless steel case. There are two bracelet options: an integrated steel bracelet and a black rubber strap.
The Defy Skyline Édition Paris houses the automatic movement El Primero 3620. Offering a 60-hour power reserve, it is visible through the open case back with its starry pattern design.
